When I was approached by Nanotech Marine about their new Nano Technology polish I must confess I thought here we go again another to good to be true product to replace traditional polishing. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a perfectionist and that my cars and boats have to look brand new at all times for me to enjoy them as well as look there best for when at show or on demo's. Until now to achieve this has meant almost weekly polishing with traditional polish. The result was always good but took many hours of hard work. So how did Nanotech convince me to try their products? To sell anything you need to be enthusiastic and believe in what you sell. These qualities shone thorough when speaking with David & Janet so combined with a moment of weakness on my part I agreed to let them have a go on my Hunton RS Demonstrator. When the had finished applying their products the boat looked fantastic gleaming away in the factory, the test was going to be how long it lasted!!! It is now over 4 months since the treatment was applied and I am generally amazed at how this stuff works. The boat does not seam to get dirty in the first place and water is still beading to the same degree as when it was first applied. I have not had to re-polish her, and all I do is wash the boat down with fresh water and towel off with a microfiber cloth, easy! As a sad chap who actually enjoys a bit of polishing I must say it is strange not having to do so anymore, my only concern is now my wife might find me less interesting jobs around the house to do with the time Nanotech have given me back.

Just a note to let you know how please I am at the results of your efforts Topcat hasn’t looked as good as this for years, it is transformational! The only problem now is that I am loathed to take her out to sea and get her dirty. It would be untrue to say that I look forward to your bill but it will certainly be worth it.

Nanotech Marine was recommended by a local shipwright who having polished the hull of our 12 year old Grand Soleil 34.1 for the last three seasons was no longer able to restore an “as new” finish to the hull with conventional polishing due to UV damage. The transom and the port bow were quite badly oxidized resulting in a chalky appearance. There were also a few scuffs and scrapes on the hull that needed rectifying. We were amazed and the results achieved by the Nanotech team. As the pictures testify she once again looks as good as new with a fantastic shine.

It’s difficult to give a testimonial on toughguard as I don’t have the experience yet, but pleased to give an update later. “Our Sunseeker Portofino 53 had spent some time in the Mediterranean sun and this had resulted in all of the gel coat, both black hull, and white topsides being affected. The sun had caused blooming and staining on the black and previous polishing and cutting had left swirl marks in the white gel coat. Previous cut and polishes had brought the boat back to an acceptable standard, but I didn’t realise how far from perfect these attempts were until I saw the results of the work by Nanotech Marine. At first I was suspicious of the claims, because I have heard similar throughout my time in boating from many sources, but the initial results are truly excellent. The white is now as new and there is no longer any evidence of the swirls brought about by previous cutting. The black looks very, very good and again no evidence of cutting or the unsightly blooming. We have taken the more expensive route and had toughguard applied and we are assured that the proof of this will be evident over the coming months, but it is obvious that the base condition of the gelcoat is back to a lovely condition, and now with a deep protected shine. The stainless steel has all been cleaned and polished and we are very pleased with the end result.

I would just like to thank Chris and the Nanotech team for the fantastic job carried out on my Hunton 43 Vertigo I bought her from Ibiza and she was sad and badly faded especially around the transom area due to being kept in a marina for 16 years in the sun. You had been recommended and Chris said he could get the boat back to close as new condition, I had my doubts but agreed to the work. Wow! What a fantastic result! Amazing! She looks as good as new. Cannot praise Chris enough. I am so pleased with the result. Everybody keeps asking me how I've transformed the boat! Will recommend you to everyone that asks.

I was recommended to try Nanotech by John, a professional skipper, after a few years of trying to keep the hull looking good with conventional polishing. Chris and the Nanotech team have really brought our boat up to scratch. I’m delighted with the quality of the finish (it looks like a mirror) and it lasts all season. Chris was introduced to me a few years ago by my engineers that look after my boat. Chris is very particular with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to get on ‘the same page’ as his customers. Chris expertise ranges from complex polishing and refinishing with excellent Nanotech products. He also has excellent knowledge and preparation methods for teak and all surfaces on the boat including anti-foul and all stainless and metal surfaces. Chris also able to apply all wrap coatings, including carbon fibre and fit transfers etc. Again the Nanotech products are excellent that have been recommended to and I have been highly delighted with the result to both my last boat and now my Sunseeker Predator.
